Unlocking the Potential of a Historic Garden. Muse helped Holland House re-evaluate its historic gardens as a strategic asset, identifying restoration opportunities that supported both conservation and organisational objectives. The resulting improvements strengthened the garden's role within the visitor experience and the long-term vision for the property.

The Heritage Statement for Stoneacre explored the history and development of the National Trust's Arts & Crafts garden, providing the evidence base needed to improve visitor access while safeguarding the site's historic character. Research into the landscape, hydrology and historic planting also informed future conservation and restoration priorities.

Patrick Swan provided strategic leadership and conservation advice across some of the country's most important historic landscapes. His work encompassed conservation planning, landscape restoration, horticultural leadership and climate adaptation, helping to secure the long-term future of nationally and internationally significant heritage sites.

Restoring a Nationally Important Chalk Stream. Working with the National Trust and Chilterns National Landscape, Muse helped secure the successful restoration of Hamble Brook, an internationally significant chalk stream. Through stakeholder collaboration, landowner engagement and conservation advice, the project delivered over 1,000 metres of stream restoration and new wetland habitat as part of The Big Chalk Programme.

Muse were selected to deliver training and CPD for the Green Heritage Future Leaders Programme, developed by Midlands Parks Forum and supported by the National Heritage Lottery Fund. The programme provides specialist training, mentoring and professional development for emerging leaders working across parks, landscapes and green heritage throughout the Midlands.

Conservation advice for the restoration of Bramshill House, a Grade I Jacobean mansion and historic landscape returning to private residential use after 90 years. The work balanced sensitive adaptation with the protection of highly significant historic features, helping guide both the restoration of the house and the recovery of its historic landscape character.
